Urban Accelerated Certification and Master’s Program

  • Through Juntos, a National Professional Development Grant funded by the Federal Department of Education, all UACM candidates with a signed three-year service agreement to teach in a high needs school will receive up to $10,000 in participant stipend/tuition assistance towards teacher certification and ESOL endorsement.For more information, please contact Nancy Schafer at njs@gsu.edu.

Future Immersion Teacher Fellowship

The Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education is a partner with the FIT (Future Immersion Teacher) Fellowship.  The FIT Fellowship is an initiative of the French government’s Dual Language Fund, launched by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States and the FACE Foundation.  Qualified French-speaking students enrolled in either the MEd in Elementary Education with a concentration in Dual Language Education program or the ECE Dual Immersion Early Childhood Education Endorsement program may apply for this Fellowship.  For more information, visit the FIT Fellowship website or contact Cathy Amanti, Ph.D.
