Endorsements, Certificates and Concentrations
- The Department of Early Childhood and Elementary Education offers graduate level endorsements in mathematics, science, literacy, and teacher support and coaching.
- The Literacy Coach Certificate is also referred to as the Partners in Comprehensive Literacy (PCL) program, a research-based companion program to the Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM).
- Dual Immersion — In response to the growing number of Georgia schools with Dual Language programs, the mission of this program is to prepare qualified educators who understand the history, theory, and practice of dual language education.Students may enter the program any semester and complete the program at their own pace. Requirements for the concentration include 12 hours of concentrated coursework in elementary (K-5) dual language education and a three (3) hour field-based practicum.Only candidates who currently hold a Foreign Language Education Certificate from the state of Georgia are eligible to apply.
